My first painting for 2011...I still wish I could get more creative with these fish, but I feel rushed to get them done. This fish was suppose to represent pride, but he came out looking like a cute pokemon instead.

You can get more creative with it? Especially if they're representing different themes.
ReplyDeleteTo make it read "pride", why not make it more commanding of it's space, like a Botero girl:

You can play with exaggerating the features, while not crossing over into a cartoony look.
Make it surrogate the space around it.
